Testimonials

★★★★★– “Mum has rejected other support in the past, but Celina's approach is working.”

“We have been using the services of Serene Companions to support our elderly mother for about two months now. Celina from Serene Companions has made a real and positive difference for mum and for us. She has established a lovely relationship with mum; she spends quality time with her doing and talking about things that are important to mum. Mum has a mind of her own and has been rejecting of other support/care arrangements we have tried in the past but Celina’s approach is working. We have found Celina to be professional, punctual, reliable and flexible. She provides short reports on her work with mum each week. This means we can be confident that mum is happy and appropriately supported when Celina from Serene Companions is there. We have no reservations in recommending Serene Companions.”

Questions families ask

Clear answers before you begin.

Is Serene Companions a personal-care or nursing service?

Serene Companions provides companionship and social wellbeing support. It is not a replacement for domiciliary care, personal care, regulated nursing care or emergency services. We will discuss your needs honestly during the consultation.

How will you know whether the service is suitable?

We begin with a free consultation to understand the person’s needs, interests, routine and preferences. This helps us decide whether companionship support is appropriate and agree a suitable plan.

Can visits be tailored around interests and routines?

Yes. Visits may include conversation, reading, games, crafts, gentle walks, local outings, appointment support or simply sharing a cup of tea.

Where do you provide companionship?

Service availability depends on location and travel requirements. Please contact us with your postcode and preferred schedule so we can confirm whether we can help.
